Hello!
My name is Miss Skiles, and I will be your future teacher.
I am a 2019 graduate from Wichita State University.
I decided to become a teacher because I love spending time with kids and seeing them learn.
My goal as teacher is to help students (you!) to find the wings they (you!) need to soar through life.
I cannot tell you how excited I am that I get to be your teacher, and that I get to learn along with you this year! I think that everyone, no matter how young or old, has something to teach others.
Besides hanging out with kids, some of my favorite things include:
Reading books: My favorite books the Anne of Green Gables series, and the Chronicles of Narnia series. One of my favorite authors is Dr. Seuss.
Cooking and baking: I especially love baking. My favorite thing to bake is Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Music: I love listening and creating music. I have been playing the piano since I was 10 years old.
One of my favorite instruments to listen to is the violin.
Making Crafts: I love making things and sewing things, like quilts, and clothes, and painting.
Chocolate! Especially Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
The Colors:
Purple and Blue.
